My name is Jennifer, I live in a suburb of the Dallas Ft. Worth area with my husband of 18 years and two kids ages 16 and 18. I have been in the hospitality industry since 1999, starting out as a reservation agent for American Airlines and quickly moved into hotels starting as a call center manager for Wyndham Hotels. From there I began as a front office agent for a full service Hyatt growing into the role of front office manager. In 2011 I realized I needed a job with normal hours so I began working as a full time corporate travel agent at an aviation training facility inside DFW Airport – which is currently where I office during regular business hours.
As a family, we have visited many places over the last 18 years, however the one we keep going back to is Walt Disney World. Taking our kids for their first visit in 2003 awoke the magic inside of us and we try to go back every couple of years – the most recent was November 2016. We are avid pin traders and have over 100 pins between the 4 of us.
My husband and I have been to Las Vegas over 35 times since 2001, so you can safely say I’m a Vegas expert. We will be enjoying our first cruise this summer on the Carnival Conquest sailing to the Bahamas.
I feel like I’ve been eating, sleeping and breathing travel for as long as I can remember. With a father who worked for an airline while I was growing up, it seemed like we were always going somewhere - whether it be California, Florida, Hawaii or wherever the wanderlust called.
As a family we have gotten to travel and experience so many places that we would never have been able to experience if it were not for my career in the industry. Hawaii, New York, California, Florida, Mexico…the list goes on and on and we are extremely blessed. My husband and I always say, we can always make money but we won’t always be able to make memories. So – we make memories as often as we can and I am excited be helping other families do the same!
